HSBC BestBuy Reward Zone M/C got rid of my LUV botton

Anybody else notice a change on the online ability to request an increase?

I think I pissed them off, or something...

When was your last request? It might just be temporary.

Were you approved? If so, there's your answer. I have a regular Best Buy store card and my button disappeared after my most recent increase.

Anybody know this... I got an increase on one of my HSBC store cards about 5 months ago (1000 --> 2000). The button is still on my screen, would it hurt me at all to click it again?

Starting Score: 627 EQ, 621 TU - 11/15/08
Current Score: 778 EQ, 781 TU, 778 EXP 07/20/12 Lender Pull

Not at all. Worst that happens is they say no. I tried for an increase on one of mine the other day and was denied (it hasn't been that long since my last increase with them). No score hits, nothing on my report, just a feeling of sadness and despair.

Maybe that's just because I wanted a taco and couldn't have one though.

HSBC has removed the "Request a CLI" button from all of their bank card websites due to the new CARD Act.

I don't know where you got that info, but it isn't correct - I am looking at my account online, and my BBY RZMC still has the "Request a Credit Limit Increase" button.

This is not correct. I just looked, and it's still on mine. Smiley Happy

I'm not using it any time soon, though, as it's been forever since I bought something there. I'd maybe go more often if it weren't such a freakin' zoo, and if they hadn't gutted their music department. Smiley Tongue
