A month ago, myFICO launched a new site redesign. We wanted to give the site a new, more modern look, but also wanted to simplify the look and make it easier for new users to find what they were looking for. How did we do? Do you like the new look? Are you able to find everything? Did we really screw you up? Are there things we could do to improve your use of the site even more? (no, we can't give all our products away free!) Thanks Paul

Thanks for the feedback hauling! Yes, the "Forums" vs. "Community" was an interesting decision. First, as you may know, we renamed our company from Fair Isaac Corporation to FICO, and so "FICO Forums" then had a bit of a double meaning. Secondly, for new users, what do they relate to more, "Community" or "Forums". And then, from our perspective, what are we trying to creative. Community, to us, has a bit more of a sense of belonging and help, so we decided to make the change for those reasons. The wider site is becoming more and more of an industry standard as screen resolutions increase. We're aware that it was a bit bumpy for a handful of users who had lower screen resolutions, and we also had a glitch with the home page looking a bit broken because of a technical issue on the first day or so, and that's since been resolved. Is there anything we changed that people didn't like? Anything you used to use or go to thhat you can't find? Is harder to get to?

As long as it isn't actually broken, the "look" of the site isn't really important. The information is what matters. If you really want to improve "usability", sell me all my FICO scores for $15/year total. 100% of $15 is much more profitable than 0% of the regular charge. Terry

I'm with htsu, I'm an old poop too, but it's growing on me.. D-R

The "FICO Forums" term is used everywhere in/on the actual forums, so renaming the tab doesn't really fix a double meaning, just confuses the users. Creativity and community are nice goals, but navigation is usually better left to clear terms. The tabs for Financial Help Center, Education, and Community all sound like they could be Forums! One feature that I love in other message sites is to see a popup of the beginning of the message when I hover over the thread title. It keeps me from having to open every thread to see what's in it (since many thread titles sound the same or are not very descriptive). Of course, if advertisers want to hear about page views, hover features don't help that.
