2012 lease of land rover evoque

Please let me know of your opinion of the quote I got for this car. 36 month lease 15,000 miles a year at 780 a month 1120 due at signing otd. Think the monthly payment is way too much. I know leasing is not ideal but for personal reasons it is best for me. It is fully loaded and it is 2 door coupe. The residual value is 51% with asking price of 47,400, 7% sales tax, and money factor of 0.00160. I come up with 673 and change. Guess he is trying to make 100 profit a month off me for total of 3600 dollars. Please advise. Thanks

I was just looking at those on line. Very nice car. They only want 1120 at signing ? That seems low to me.

Well from the general site the base price for the coupe is 45k. Having it loaded like you say it is probably well over 47k, and maybe that makes the difference between the estimate the dealer gave you and your estimate. Other than that, what was the interest quote you received because your estimate doesnt reflect any interest.

Well he claims the $780 a month includes everything including interest. The payment also includes sales tax of 7%. The way he explained it to me, with a lease there is a money factor that is like the interest rate. You figured the interest rate by multiplying money factor by 2400. In this case it came up to be 3.84%. Any lease experts please advise. Or if someone has leased this car. Thanks

Well it is fully loaded except rear entertainment system and it is pure plus not dynamic or premium which are a lot more. The 1120 at startup includes first payment and fees

They told me 1484 a month if I financed for 36 months and bought it. Will have to ask if I financed it longer. This includes 0.9 apr 7% sales tax

The 15k mile lease vs the 10k mile lease advertised would definitely increase payments as well as the higher MSRP for more options.

Yeah I is a tough decision if this really that great of a deal. I hope they don't try a bait and switch or I will walk out. Anyone else actually bought or leased this car?

We actually purchased one of the first ones in Ohio back in December. Well we ended up trading the vehicle in after 6 months due to electrical issues and the vehicle was VERY uncomfortable. We ended up purchasing for 990 a month with no money down for the prestiege with the rear entertainment, and every option you could get. Loved the car just had warranty issues. We ended up with a Mercedes-Benz E350.

Sorry to hear about issues with car as land/ range rover is not known for their reliability. They did come down on the lease price but I am still debating. At u loving the Mercedes?

I'm leasing a 2013 range rover sport, fully loaded luxury version, 12,000 miles a year, for $705 per month. 39 month lease. MSRP is $65-66K. You're being ripped off

no I am not being ripped off as I didn't buy the car. I said in old posts I was considering it only. Plus there has been multiple issues with land rover anyway. Don't need anything stranding me . Good luck to u.

My last vehicle was a 2007 range rover sport, and it out-lasted every one of my friend's "reliable" asian automaker cars. It drove like new when I sold it a few months ago

Be smart and change your oil with 100% synthetic oil on time, and fill it with premium gas and you have nothing to worry about. Usually it's the people that take the least care of their cars that complain the most about how they break down. You're more likely to get stranded with any car other than a land rover

Who knows if that is true or not..... It is the luck of the draw. Land rover has a very bad reputation for problems and gas guzzling. I have had 2 different cars that were quite different from one another so I consider myself lucky. I have ford mustang gt that my dad thought was a bad choice because it was a ford. Well 200,000 miles and it is still running without any major repairs. And it is a 12 year old car. Had rav4 and also drove for 200,000 miles. Had Buick skylark as first used car ever and it died with only 120,000 miles. Never can tell....the resale on land rovers ar some of the worst as well.... Value drops big time.
