Because I have been obsessing over this whole thing for the past month, I signed up for a PACER account. I log in today and see a new document - DISCHARGE OF DEBTOR. Yes!!! I am sooooooooooo happy!!!

I am ready to rebuild!!!

haha i also filed BK chapter 7 on 7/1/12

I got my discharge on 10/10/12 thats cool we got our discharges pretty much on time

MYFICO EQ score is 648

Im looking to start applying somewhere lol like one card at least..maybe capital one? I already have one card that ive had for 2 years ive kept it out of bankruptcy because that card was used to build and have good credit history with them

So now fishing for creditor to start building :) congrats man

It's a great feeling, I know that! I feel so free. All I have to do now is find car financing and I will be set.

Check out Prestige Financial for car financing...I am currently in Bankruptcy and was approved with them for a car and it took less that an hour for approval..the website is gopfs.com....good luck!!!

To the person waiting on their paperwork, you can print it from the pacer site! Printed mine and downloaded today!

I was checking pacer every day...multiple times per day LOL. I saw the discharge about 2 hours after it was uploaded/filed.

Congrats!! I did the very same thing. PACER was awesome and it only charges quarterly and if its less than $10 (i think) in the pages you have accessed its no charge. You know that after the expiration date for the creditors technically according to the courts there is a 10 day grace period for creditors to still file..but after that if your discharge has not posted you can call the courts and the clerk can discharge you immediately!!! That is what I did..

Question for you though. I filed in May starting scores were right around yours. I discharged in August on 16th. Got a new car, CAP 1 credit card, LB credit card and NYandcompany credit card, your scores are 30-40 points higher than mine. What did you do for such a significant jump

CAP1 financed my new car 2 days after being discharged from CHPT 7 BK this year in August . So happy searching!!!!

Just call your Court clerk they can do it immediately over the phone. This is what I did back in August. When she uploaded as we chatted on the line I saw it immediately through PACER

What expiration date are you referring to and how do I find this date out? I filed Chp. 13. Not sure if this applies to me?? Haven't seen it on any of my documents. I've always been nervous about calling the court for fear of saying the wrong thing.

I got a jump when my hubby added me as an AU on his Cap1 card. He wants me to apply there...I'm nervous because I included a few of their cards in my bk....I hate seeing "declined." I'm going to try though!

Just got my discharge yesterday afternoon.....I'm stoked! I haven't received any notifications from myfico alerts or anything yet.

Excited to start rebuilding - did the pre-qual for Cap 1 but it still says nothing matching yet......hopefully that changes within the next week/month.
