Who Does Discover Pull?

I keep getting invitations/pre-approvals from Discover to apply for the More card... Anyone know which CRA they pull for applicants from Northern/Northeastern Illinois? Specifically, Chicago...?

My best CR's are on TU and EX. Just want to know if those two CRA's are the ones they will check?

Discover only pulled EQ for me. I'm in MA

I'm in MA too but they always soft me to death on TU. I've never had one soft hit on EX or EQ in MA. I guess it's an example of YMMV.

When you got your discover card, did they pull TU for you?

Maybe it depends which part of MA you're in. I'm close to Boston.

Well I live in ma to and when I applied they pulled tu and eq so I think if they are iffy they will pull both but I don't think they ever pull ex so make sure you have decent scores between them two and you will be fine I got 1000 cl with 694 tu fico and 709 eq fico so really scores mean nothing just a number that makes us feel better about our selves because when they pull the report they don't approve on score they look at report the score is like a after thought

I don't have one CS. I live just outside of Boston. I get TONS and TONS of offers from Discover each week in the mail but I haven't applied for them. I have no desire to. They don't soft me on EQ/EX...only TU. I just counted and they've softed me 31 times this year on TU.

Lol well I live in Worcester and I think my ficoSo are not to shabby even tho my eq dropped 23 points due to new accounts balances and all that fun stuff now I'm in garden mode letting my huge amount of inq fall off and to let all accounts age I think in a year I should be able to get any card I want within reason at least what do you think my chances are for a Amex in a year I have totally clean reports and in one year will have a ton of accounts with perfect history and low balances for a whole year I'm thinking bofa visa sig card with 5k limit or am I getting ahead of myself

I'm from MA too, Western Mass, where we talk like normal people...but I do a hell of a good impression of an eastern New England accent.

Well, I'm from the Dakota's and we all talk like Tom Brokaw LOL (I do have a friend near BAWston, and he's brilliant. I still don't know how people near there can stand the way the roads are set up and the traffic).

Oh... Discover... For me they HP'd TU back in april. Then last month, EQ. Not sure why that is, maybe depends on the system, being random somehow?

I have yet to speak with anyone there named Peggy however. :smileywink:
