Longest and shortest period you have gone without apping

So another member mentioned that my question about apping should be its own thread, but I thought it would be more fun to see everyone's personal records: longest amount of time you have gone without apping and shortest from your first credit card to your most recent (none of this..well I didn't apply for a credit card until I was 17, so 17 years business :smileytongue:).

Longest: 5 years, from AMEX SPG to AMEX TE

Shortest: 2 days, it's hard not to app when you're on a college campus and they are offering you free stuff. I apped for a Bruin bear and later for a student kit: shirt, cup, the usual.

Longest time: 2003 - 2011 (Apped for an MBNA, and didn't app for another card til I got the Chase Freedom in summer of 2011)

Shortest time: 1 week-ish. (Apped for a Discover More and figured I'd give it a shot about a week or so later and apped for a BCE, was approved for both)

If I get the United Mileage Plus at the end of the year, I might not be apping for a long time, if ever. (Or so I say)

Longest time (CC): 2000-2006

Shortest time: Apped for Barclay's Amex (got 7-10 day message) 1 week later Apped for Amex Zync (instant approval).

Longest between any apps: 1988 to 2005 (mortgage), 19 years

Longest, probably 8 years when my credit was **bleep**e. Shortest was about 7 seconds between Chase Freedom and Slate apps.
