Chase Freedom CLI

So following some of suggestions that I've derived from this board, I called the Chase executive office today, seeking a soft pull CLI on my Freedom card. I spoke with a very nice CSR, who's name I don't have in front of me, and went on to explain how much I loved my Freedom. I told her that I loved it so much, that I wanted to run the majority of my monthly expenses through it (actiually some truth to this), but that my current c/l was not sufficient enough to accomplish my intent. I reminded her that I had been a chase banking customer since 2005, and that my chase card was my lowest c/l at $2.5k and that "Amex" was my largest at $18k. She asked me how much i was looking for, to which i replied $12 5k, the limit of my csp. She then asked a few more basic questions, said that it would require a hard pull, of which I objected, and submitted my request. She also that it would take a couple of days to process. Fast forwarding, i checked my chase account a little while ago, and bam! An increase to $12.5k...so far, no alert of a hard pull. And the icing on the cake, she submitted a request to lower my apr to 6%. Yes! I have learned so much from this forum. I would not be nearly as knowledgeable without it. I will be asking to PC it to a sig version when it reaches a year.... Please forgive the grammar/formatting, I'm typing from my iPad.....

Wow that's amazing, awesome job! You also said that you are wanting to pc to a freedom in a year? Is that the waiting time? Because my limit just went above 5k as well and I was wanting to upgrade my card to a sig.

Hi, My name is Lem. Do you mind sharing your name and the CSR executive person whom you spoke. I am using chase Freedom too and my situiation is almost similar to you. Anyway my Equifax fico is 730 and TU is 738. Thanks you so much in advance

Thank you! And yes, I was told by the CSR today that I would have to wait a full hear before requesting a pc...

Chase has always been a pleasure to work with. Their people actually work with you and try to find ways to help you out with your situation rather than give a runaround on why things can't be done. My very first CC was a Chase and I have never had any problems with them.

Probably smart :smileyhappy:, although my account is right at 10 mos. While I did not have a reporting balance, I'm in between statements, so there is a balance on the card. I bring this up because I don't see a soft or hard inquiry on any of my monitoring services, leading me to believe that they may have reviewed the account itself, which would have revealed a balance....My logic may be off though.
