I feel speshul... i got me my OWN preapproval letter... for CREDIT ONE

Yeah I know, I'm not special. but the BIG BOLD LETTERS telling me I was preapproved for their VISA Platinum were so pretty!

That included the honor of paying them 75.00 for the first year, but the AF for every year after is 99.. conveniently billed to my card every month in 8 buck installments.
OH and I could also have the honor of having an introductory interest rate of 27%.

and they sent me the cute fake card too...

it all made such a lovely sound getting munched through my shredder. I know my scores took a hit from my mini app spree in July (AMEX BCE and Aliant CU Visa rewards) but I didnt' think it had sunk THAT low :)

(sorry, couldn't find the real sarcasm font in the font family . . .but I'm sure y'all get it ...)

My sister and I got these too. She also got one from First Primier. I have no idea why they sent them as both of our histories are perfect with very nice cards and limits. Anyway, next time stuff it back in the prepaid envlope they send with it so it costs them money. I also wrote some stuff on it just for fun.

I got one yesterday!! It offered a $175 AF, 36% APR, $14 monthly maintenance fee AND.....a $700 CL!!! Yaaaaayyyyyy!! :smileyvery-happy:

Just note your reports with an opt out for marketing. It'll put a stop to the mailings altogether.

lol i could they offered me 5k max limit no annual fee. (opened letter today) even though its 5k ive never heard of them so straight to the shredder.

i only have 900 on revolvers at the moment.
