I am writing in
response to your credit limit increase
inquiry.

I regret to inform
you that, the credit limit increase
request option is not available online.
We review your
account periodically for a credit limit increase however,

there is no specific time frame of the review.

If you wish to
request for a credit limit increase then, I
request you to please reply to
this email with the
following information:

* Gross Annual Income
(Alimony, child support or separate
maintenance income need not be revealed
if you do not want
to consider these as a basis for repayment. Gross Annual

Income is income that you are able to use for repaying
your debts.
Examples may include income earned from
salaries, investments, rental
properties, Social Security
benefits and retirement accounts.)

Total credit limit you are requesting (Current credit
limit plus amount of
requested increase.)

By submitting a request for a credit limit increase,
you
authorize Chase to obtain a copy of your credit report,
credit
bureau history and any other information in order
to determine if the
request can be approved. Please be
informed that, there will be a hard
inquiry on your credit
report.

After your request has been processed,
you will be
notified of the outcome via email.

Yup! Because Chase is always a HP for a CLI. Not surprised.

i just requested mine today. i called exec office and they are doing it for me. it will take a day or two. i told them i needed more for a ring. so we will see.

Chase CLI's are only HP's if it's customer initiated. Chase Auto CLI's are SP's.

I think it's a ymmv thing...

with my old Slate card, they always denied a CLI, but it was always a SP... that was in 2010-2011.

I haven't requested one on Freedom yet, but if you initiate it with an uw or ca, I think it's their decision to hp or sp you.... sometimes, they just aren't nice I guess....

You have to call Chase CS and they will help you with the CLI request. Pretty easy procedure. I requested mine over the phone with a very friendly CS agent and received a $300 CLI on my Chase Freedom :)
