There are "credit pulls databases" on the internet that aren't hard to find. I won't post any links for fear of being modded.

Yeah, but those are somewhat dated for certain cards. I know which one you're talking about

Pretty much as long as your scores are 600 and above (lower scores have been approved) and no recent baddies you should be good to get it.

I do. Some good deals. I got JCpenny 1800 CL no baddies no lates 7 month credit history one card FICO TU 700's Sorry about text dont know what I hit.

Like all GE cards if you are 620'ish with a decent report you will get approved.

I was thinking the same thing and then found out you can also use the JCPenney card at CVS and they are opening a new store near me that is in a shopping center instead of a mall so maybe they are getting back to what they once were??

I just don't understand it... I can only get a $200 CL from GEMB, I try for CLI's and get the "You don't have enough experience at this credit level!" I have a PayPal extras card $4800, Sams Club Discover $3500, Walmart Discover $2300, Amazon $2800, Summit Racing $2000, Care Credit $8000.....So I have sock drawered it!

Approved for $200.00, scores in the mid 600s. From what I have read, it can grow over time so I'm going to work on that every 4 months and figure I should have the CL in the $2000+ range in a year or two. A little here, a little there, helps with the big numbers a few years from now.

You must have a four month PAYMENT HISTORY to get a CLI with GECRB.

I have a $4900 limit with JCP.

Got a $700 CL in 2009 with about a 630-650 score... then got a CLI to 1500 a year later, then 2900, then 4900.

Seems like they don't do CLI like other GECRB accounts. I also am at "Gold" level, but have always paid in full, except maybe a month or two. I've only rec'd cli on a sort of annual basis... between Nov and Jan usually. lol

TU Score is currently 696, and last time I tried for a CLI (maybe last month), JCP denied me LOL....

Go figure. I actually only use it at CVS for the most part unless I get that free $15 coupon for having "gold" status.
