I have found the closer you are to Christmas the easier it is to get a CLI, Anyone else find this to be true?

I believe this is true. CCC want more people to finance with them and dont want to lose business especially during this season

People usually spend a lot more during Christmas. If you have a higher credit line you are more likely to spend more. The banks want you to spend a lot of money and pay them interest.

This is why Im glad my Amex 61 3xcli mark will be around mid december :-D. I might request it on Dec 20th or Dec 24th! Lol

I have been tempted to apply for the walmart card in store during the holiday season, hoping for a high starting CL. If not, the card grows nicely. :)

With Amex, only the initial credit line can be increased after 61 days, then any approved cli after will require a six month period.

Nah, Discover is a stickler, no cli for at least six months-absolutely no way around it lol!

I received a Discover auto CLI after my 4th statement cut.... Went from 5k to 6.5k

No idea what triggered it, but apparently I did something right. :-)

I hope so, my Wal-Mart Store is sitting at 2.9k CL, just PIF last month. I hope to get auto cli to 5.8k and a Discover upgrade also.
