Hi how long should I wait before applying for American express? I just got approved for a discover more for $5500, BCU visa card $1000, Papal Master card $1500

walmart card $600.00 chase freedom 500.00and just refinanced my car

How long should I wait to app for a america express card?

Seems like 6 months is the magic number... or maybe 12 months.

I would wait a good 12 months to let your inquiries go down a bit and for the accounts to report. At this point you may get a higher starting limit therefore at the 61-day mark you can attempt a 3X CLI for even higher. If you attempt too soon you will get stuck with a low limit like some of the cards you just posted instead of a higher limit for having less inquiries and a higher AAoA.

My fico scores are on the 680's and I just bought a house last month but haven't made a payment yet $280k loan on the mortgage
