FINALLY broke into the $5000 limit ! :)

Discover is my favorite card, their rewards program is the most hastle free of my credit lineup. I tried to get a cli via online chat (from 3k to 5k) and got shot down, the chat CSR actually had some personality and I didnt feel all dejected after the chat session. At the end she gave me a number to call a credit analyst so I went fwd with it. He said that they would have to do a hard pull (to which I agreed) and after about ten minutes of answering various questions and being on hold twice, he came back and said that due to my strong payment history that he would increase to 5k ! This was at 1030 this morning and Im still smiling with my small accomplishment !

I love Discover. It's my most used card.

Started out last year with $750 @ 22.9% and am now at $3000 @ 16.9% with them.

Not my lowest rate nor my highest limit, for some reason I prefer them the most.

may i ask what your aaoa is?

we have alot of the same cards lol. and even the same type of car (toyota)

i have the zync, freedom, best buy card, walmart, and macys.

besides my zync, freedom, and employee credit card all are above 2k.

got my first 5k limit with walmart a few days ago.

scores are strong just my aaoa is killing me =/

5k is a huge milestone since it opens doors for companies like other Visa signiture cards =) Chase Sapphire for example they do NOT like being the first card issuer with a high limit =)

@ creditnocash average acge of accounts is approx 2 years, took a god hit twith the age of accounts with a purchase of a 4runner in Aug of this year. All 3 bureaus are squeaky clean....
