WOW CAP ONE EXECUTIVE OFFICE!!!!!

Can't believe it!! My cap one journey card has been stuck at 1500 forever (okay maybe not forever but about 7mnths). After reading everyone's success with the executive office i thought..what do i have to lose. I really wanted their card to grow with me as it is one of my older accounts. So, i googled ceo email address and emailed yesterday morning while home sick. Not kidding, i emailed around 10am or so and got a call by 3pm. Rep asked me typical questions, how much and least take. Also asked about 2 cards i had with them in past that i didn't perform so well with :-(. I was very honest and explained that i am trying to build back trust in hopes of getting a mortgage in the future and that i have other accounts that have grown and that by end of nxt mnth i will have my car loan with them pif yrs early. Said k he will get. bk to me 7-10 days. Wasn't very hopeful with that but just received a call that my request was approved. i went from a 1500 cl to 5k. He also asked me to contact OB directly for that card as they are not servicing them yet.

So, to all that havebposted success, THANK YOU. It seems cap one is going to stay in my wallet for a time to come ;-)

Thanks...and congrats to you. Can't believe the level of customer service. And i really messed up with them...I'm talking judgement messed up. Im just grateful they are trusting me again. Dare i say they are really turning around in terms of policy and customer satisfaction ;-)

Never...lessen learned the hard way. I actively ensure daily that i never end up there again. Just thinking, should i try ob?

Oh! Word here is that C1 exec office doesnt handle OB accounts change the HSBC backdoor number's last digit to a 6 and try that num ;-). They can send it for a manual review. I didnt have them send mine for a manual review but I got a $200 cli when I called!!:-) hope that helps...

Hope that num works! I got an analyst at OB one time that was RUDE and told me to call the num on the back of my card

Typical Orchard Bank csr. They are always rude when i call as well. I get the line...well, i see that you called a couple of weeks ago. Nothing has changed since that time when you were informed that we have made a business decision not to grant cli at this time...yadda yadda.

Just saw your similar post. Ur post was one that inspired me to try exec office...and we emailed the same peron. Only diff is i got a nice rep named James. He was awesome. He asked about the old cards i had with them and was no rude or judgemental at all. Glad i didn't get your friend ;-)
