DENIED WITH 720 FICO SCORE FOR US BANK CREDIT CARD

I was told that i couldnt get the card for the reason that i have new accounts

I was offered the secure card instead because my score is to low i guess...Wow

Do i get the secure card with; 720 fico/5.5 yrs AAOA/12 yrs of credit history/1% utl ???????

I guess we have to go back to kindergarden base on this lender

They just closed out your acoount. Why would they open it back up when they see you as such a credit risk?

If your starting score was in the 500's just two year ago. How would you have an AAoA of over 5 years after opening all the new accounts you claim to have opened?

US Bank wants nothing to do with you and neither would I.

Actualy i had a account with them.

They close it for some lame reason and they offer me to reopen a new account while i was on the phone with csrvice.

I did not wanna reapply they offer me to reapply for it and they say that i was preapproved bla bla bla

its just this particular trio/us bank c1 and barclays that hate on me.Why other lenders on my signature have not closed my accounts?

Sounds like op is just having bad luck in life. Just use the cards you have and lay low. No cli no new accounts no inquires. Stay like that for a year better if two and you'll qualify for any card you want.

Sounds like you need to go into gardening mode for a long while. US Bank says you have two many inquiries and your other posts that are talking about other major CC's closing you down indicate that there is something wrong. At least they offered you something because they obviously see something wrong in your credit file. So they are saying that despite seeing this red flag that they will do business with you if you deposit some money with you. So they don't trust you now and you have to prove yourself again. You did say that US Bank closed your account too right or did I misread that?

Whatever the reason its time for you to refrain from hitting the submit button because you are losing steam now burning up unnecessary hp's.

i dont, but i know when enough is enough.

i went from 3 cards to 10 and an auto loan at the best rate. no denials, no recons.

with all the inquries your gathering up i can understand why barclays would close because thats just what they do.

but eventually when you keep applying and applying and get denied even on recon youll know exactly why.

when you recon cards they tell you whats wrong to fix not too do nothing and try again.

so yeah keep doing what your doing but youll never get out of this "funk" if you keep doing what your doing.
