Ae seems to stick to the 4 month rule I guess. This card has been as for me since November .
@bears yeah hopefully. The only thing to be weary about is that it does close the tl and opens a new one so she might take an aaoa hit

@wally that's great congrats

SO last week sisters old navy went from $800 to $1,300 a total of $500 cli, that same day she requested a cli for AE card and was denied, well today (1 week after) She requested it again via automated system and requested her total CL go from $900 to $1,300 to match old navy well after waiitng operator said SORRY blah blah blah and said WE MAY GRANT YOU ANOTHER CL OF 350, 50 LESS FROM WHAT SHE REQUESTED LMAO. Anyway better than nothing, New CL is $1,250 on AE card IMPROVING!! Also we noticed that b4 when you pressed the love buttton it would say sorry not accepting cli request online, but now it actually asks for ANNUAL INCOME HMM will defintely use to request another CL in May to maybe get closer to the VISA UPGRADE. Its barely been 10 months since acct open, GE is great!!!

Congrats.! And by the way, I called them and requested for a CLI a little less than a month ago and the guy said "I'm sorry we are unable to grant you a higher limit" blah blah. I just read this post 5 minutes ago, and I immediately logged on and requested for a CLI online. and I was granted one, it only increased from 175 to 300, but I'm happy. :smileyhappy:

@creditnocash yeah thats TRUE new tradline which may affect aaoa but then again it will convert into a VISA which will be used at any place not just AE, so once AE and ON get upgraded she will let them age and then apply for some GOOD prime cards. Get me?? While they age she can use them anywhere. The rewards dont really matter just being able to use in case of emergency.

@WallyxD I would say every four months it the right number, thats how she has gottten from $400 to $800 and NOW $1,300 on oldnavy in 9 MONTHS, same for AE first instanly approved $700 then $900 and NOW $1,250 so YES 4 months is usually when they grant CLI just use it here and there and never be late on payments :)
