USDA Approval Ohio

We applied for a USDA Guaranteed mortgage loan and are currently going through the lender's underwriting (they estimated for this to take 8 business days). Is anyone else currently going through this in Ohio? The LO keeps telling me that it will take USDA 11 business days to do their underwriting and approval once it is sent to them; but I've been reading some horror stories. Does anyone have the telephone number to call USDA in Ohio and see what day of submitted loan packages they are working on (if so could you pm it to me)? Thanks much! So stressed!

Hey, sorry...I just saw your post. Thanks so much for the number...I call it daily. Our file was submitted on Nov. 8th; USDA is currently on Oct. 25. I'm thinking we'll hear something around the 1st of December...fingers crossed!
