It is a great idea to see where you stand, one hit isnt really gonna do much.

Would like to buy a home in 6 months. Is it a bad idea to have a lender pull my credit to see where I stand? What kind of hit will my credit take? I would like to know if there is anything they see that I do not. I have spoken to quite a few loan officers, but have kinda just reached a speculative point.

Right on. Also, am I correct that CAs are alerted by pulls by lenders? Think I have most taken care of, outside of issues past SOL that have dropped off my CR the past couple years. Might as well see what happens!
Thanks!
