Has anyone applied for the HFA down payment assistance loan? If so, how long did it take before getting approved? I heard it can take 2 months. Thanks

It's a California program. I just read up on it for a bit but don't think I qualified, so did not pursue it any further.

Thanks for the response Adalen. I've read up on it but don't anyone who has went through the program. Was hoping that someone from the mortgage boards could offer some insight into the program. Plan on applying for it later this year and will post an update for anyone else who is considering it.

Wow. I'm sorry. I didn't see the date. It was on the first page of the message board with zero replies so I thought it was new. Some sort of fico glitch. You can turn off notifications on your settings page.
