GGRRRR EQUIFAX!!

Have email from OC saying they reported DOFD wrong, that they corrected it, that account should be deleted.

Was told Monday by EQ rep that I should fax it, call in today, and it should be gone.

I call today and was told NOPE, they have to get that letter directly from the OC.

The OC says the reported it the new info (AS does the email) but it is STILL REPORTING.

Which EQ rep is correct??

OKAY so TODAY EQ is saying that back when Nissan updated this account to say "Included in bankruptcy" in s2006, Nissan put a "freeze' on the account to prevent their e-oscar system from continuing to report old information.

EQ says that Nissan has to call to remove the freeze to re-report the correct DOFD. If the correct DOFD was reported, the accoutn would be gone.

I am getting such a runaround. Still continue to get a different story every single time I call.

Equifax is STILL saying they cannot take information I have from Nissan. All the posts I read about people not getting PFD's or GW's deleted, and asking if they should send their letter to the CRA...well that would be a moot point if the CRA"s do not accept information from us humans, only from the reporting party's computer, correct?

ANY HELP is appreciated. I am truly stuck here.

Im right there with u. I dont want to quit so im paying for the DOFD for 11 dollars and the hopefully Equidopes will delete. Keep us posted.:smileytongue:

i did get a call back from a credit manager specialist who told me to go ahead and fax what I have to her. We shall see. I still want to know if EQ can accept OUR documents from the OC/CA or only from them directly......

Wake up to a SW alert - about this account. No change to score, though alert said account changed. Went and saw my EQ report and it still says under dispute, still says Included in Bankruptcy, still has DOFD as 10/05. What they changed I have no idea.

I think I might lose major points when they remove it since it was opened in 2001. But for some reason it has a RED FLAG on my SW reports. So I want it GONE.

(Would there ever be a red flag if it wasn't a negative account?)

I get scared when I see Booner posting about stuff and not responding to others because the situations are usually puzzlers... haha

I have no guidance, just wanted to comment on that :)
