Wells Fargo Financial Email contact info needed

Hi all - hoping that someone can assist.

I have got a WF Financial CO on my CR. I found a number to call and eventually got a fax number to send my GW letters to....as they insist that for WFF that is the ONLY way they will accept communication. Well long story short...they wouldn't remove the record from my CR. BUT, they did remove all of the lates from EQ and TU....EX (obtained from an LO) is a different story. This is still showing me as having 30, 60, 90 and 120+ lates.

On TU it is showing as "charged off as bad debt", 0 balance, with no lates and an estimated date to fall off of 02/2011.

On EQ it is showing as 120+ days past due, 0 balance, with no lates

On EX it is showing as "charged off as bad debt" , 0 balance with the following:

Account History:
Charge Off as of Oct 2004 to May 2006
180 days as of Jun 2006
150 days as of Sep 2004
120 days as of Aug 2004
90 days as of Jul 2004, Jun 2004, Sep 2003
60 days as of Aug 2003
30 days as of May 2004, Apr 2004, Jul 2003

I have GW'd until the cows come home...and like I said they at least removed the lates from EQ and TU....but I'm afraid to go any further as I worry that they may add the lates back on, but I'm thinking that if someone has had luck in the past with an email address, it's possible I may be able to get it removed. The debt was paid in full to the CA and that was removed from my CR.

Should I try? Or let this sleeping dog lie and wait until the 2011 drop off date?

I have one 30 day late mark on a closed WFF credit card that I'm trying to get removed. The acount

still has a balance that i'm paying off so I'm hoping that might allow them to work with me somewhat.

I am not sure I understand the facts of your scenario. They dont seem to mesh.

If WFF did a CO, that means WFF was the OC, and not a third-party CA.

You said you paid a CA. That would not be the OC. Who is the CA?

So who are you attempting to GW now, a third party CA, the OC, or both?

You can send GWs to anyone until the cows come home, and they can ignore them until the cows come home.

What incentive are you offering for their GW deletion?

You might also want to check out the drop off date of the CO or any CA.

Your report a 30-day late in 7/2003 (whch would mandate a CO/CA drop off date after 1/2011), but also report a later 30-day late in 4/2004 (which would mandate a CO/CA drop of date after 10/2011).

if the account was brough back into good standing after the 7/2003 late, and then a new 30-day late was reported in 4/2004, that would reset your DOFD, and extend the drop of any CO/CA until after 10/2011.

Hi Robert - Sorry that my original post was stated in a manner that confused.

The account I'm attempting to GW is the OC...and yes I fully understand that there is not any incentive for them to update or remove any of the lates on the account as it was a CO. I mentioned that I did pay the CA who removed from my CR to merely note that they are no longer reporting on my CR.

The WF account was never brought back into good standing so the DOFD remains at 7/2003. The dates shown in my OP were copied directly from my yearly free report ....and to be frank they don't make any sense to me either with the gaps in the dates of 30, 60, etc.

So..my question is...should I even try to get them to remove the lates from EX (as WF was kind enough to remove the late notations from TU and EQ)? Or, should I just let it lie until the 2/2011 drop off date (as shown in my free annual report)?

I do fear waking them back up and having them add the lates they previously removed back on to TU and EQ, but it looks horrible on EX with so many lates showing.
