So just got word Cap1 (opened in 2004) will be deleting the negative tradeline (PAID in FULL CO). However, my Orchard bank acct (PAID in FULL CO, opened 2005) is removing the lates but keeping the comment or "Paid in-full CO. Since the merger should I call HSBC and let them know what Cap1 is doing or wait till the negative TL is deleted?

Check your PM...It is but now have to talk with HSBC...had the same issue with Orchard and they were NOT willing to delete the comment of "Paid in FULL" but willing to delete the lates...so with CAP1 agreeing to remove the negative TLs and the merger...maybe I can go to HSBC and ask for the removal since CAP1 is doing it....
