    <description>&lt;p&gt;In January of last year I receieved a 1099-c Cancelation of debt  for a 2006 charged off Cap ONE CC. However they keep reporting a new balance every month. I spoke with Capitol one and they are telling me it is due to all the interest and charges that have incurred. Can they do this?&lt;/p&gt;</description>
