REMOVED DISPUTE QUESTION

i just got off the phone about two hours ago with all three CRA (yes its been a long afternoon) i spoke with somebody at equifax first she told me that she put in the request to all three companies to remove dispute comments and that they do all the time and it takes 30 days to get there response. im pretty sure the lady just initiated a dispute i asked her several times if that was what she was doing and she told me no that she was just requesting the companies remove all dispute comments.... we will see.

next i called experian got in touch with a really nice gentleman who went over my whole report saw the three tradelines with dispute comments on them and told me he was putting in a request that they be deleted. he told me that it was done internally and that it should take 2-3 business days. hopefully this works.

last but not least i spoke with transunion very nice lady in customer escalations collected my info within three to five minutes she told me all comments have been erased that she had just done it herself..... AWESOME.

okay so here is my questions..... why did the other two experian and equifax just delete them like transunion

second question i logged on to my fico about an hour and a half later to view my score imagining the worst that it tanked completely and it didnt the freakin thing went up to a 646...... my jaw dropped.... these accounts that were in dispute were not exactly the cleanest accounts.. major derogs student loan more that 120 days late twice. as well as a sears that was 90 days late last year....... i checked all the accounts and sure enough in the comments on all accounts there is no dispute information on anything at all...... can somebody clarify if i am dreaming if i should be excited or is my store going to plummet miracuosly in a day or so????

if no i am going to go have a beer and celebrate!!!!

I don't know how it's possible I keep thinking I am dreaming. Will I get a boost from all three or just transunion. Also my utilization is high if I pay down to 9% estimator says I will be 685-708. I don't know how it is possible with the lates I have. Any explanations???

That's crazy, but congrats! :) Util sure plays a big role, bringing it down you will see a bump in scores.

If the accounts are not in dispute, then yes, that is your actual score. Decreasing util can give a really nice boost.

I had the same thing happen. I had a disputed comment removed (only one) but my score jumped up 6 points after it was taken off. I thought for sure it would drop the score, but nope.

Ok I have an update TU and EX both removed comments. I got the update from freecreditreport.com. No score change all though I know it's a fako. So I don't even take it seriously. The problem is equifax I had an alert from the website in it basically removed all the comments from the trade lines and added the comment consumer disputes re investigation in process that is not at all what I requested to be Done. This also dropped my score twenty points by adding this comment. Any ideas as what to do to get this removed and why did they put that on there???

Equifax did to you what they had done to me some time ago. They entered a dispute for the disputes.

Jeez I told the lady that's NOT what I wanted to Do. Anyway to fix this another number to call or do I need to wait and see what happens?

It's been so long since I did mine, I had to go through the "special handling" CSRs to get mine done. The lady questioned where I got the number from, (which I don't have anymore, sorry) and I just told her I had friends in high places. She promptly took everything off.

Dorothy got the job done. Score here went up to 622. Simulator says if I pay my cards down to under 10% my score will go up to 636-666. If that's the case I may be able to get into a home a little quicker than I thought
