Ok... maybe not as big a deal as getting Midlan or NCO off a CR, but had a good karma event today. Battery went bad in my car, took it to the store for a core charge. Guy scanned it and said I should get a break off a new one. I got a break, full replacement, no cost. Saved me $217 for a new battery! Just a feel good story. :)

Walmart. Guy there was great! Asked if I needed him to look up the specifics on installing it or anything else. Was a good experience.

Oh nice didn't think walmart would do that. Was it under warrenty?

I'm assuming it was. I was going to take my car to the Cadillac dealership when I remembered I changed the battery out 3 years ago when it crapped out on me. It was late and I was out of town so I bought one at Walmart. I decided to go back there and get another thinking it might have a pro-rated warranty or something but I didn't have the receipt. The guy just scanned it and I got a new one for free.
