Are those all individual loans? So you have 90k+ in student loans? If your loans are in good standing, I see no reason to consolidate. Trust nothing these people tell you. They are not your friend, and they are not very informed. Many of them get a commision/bonus, for getting you to agree to certain payments, consolidations, etc etc. In fact, I would not even communicate with them over the phone anymore. Get everything in writing/email.

My loans are below, I hope it comes out clear. My Acs/Brazos loans are in rehab through the NYSHESC, I am in month 4. Once the rehab is over the loans will be turned over to Suntrust and the NYSHESC acct will be removed from my credit as per the NYSHESC rep. Now here is the thing, I called to start making payments on the Brooklyn Perkins acct and the rep told me I qualified for the direct loan consolidation. I told her I was already in rehab with the other defaulted loans and all of my direct loans are in good standing with no lates. She insisted consolidation was the way to go, where direct loans would take over all of my loans including the ones in rehab so I would just make one payment to direct loans. I don't think that is a good idea especially since the bulk of my loans are in good standing. Any advice?

NyshescXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX5429Not on Record$17,536120+ days past due

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX22867/2008$15,252Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX23864/2009$14,633Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX20869/2006$11,149Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX17868/2008$9,589Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX16863/2008$9,589Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX24869/2009$7,141Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX18869/2009$4,794Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX12867/2002$3,829Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX15862/2006$3,154Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX10869/1998$2,843Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX14867/2004$2,829Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX13862/2004$2,473Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX11863/2002$2,180Pays account as agreed

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX21867/2007$1,568Pays account as agreed

BrooklynXXXXXXXXXXR24A12/2002$1,419120+ days past due

Us Dept EdXXXXXXXXXXX19861/2003$899Pays account as agreed

Acs/BrazoXXXXXXX88221/2001$0120+ days past due

Acs/BrazoXXXXXXX88219/1999$0120+ days past due

Acs/Brazos/1999 $0 Pays account as agreed

AcscunybkXXXXXXXXXXX820112/2002$0Pays account as agreed

Yup, over 90K in loans! I have 2 degrees. I really dont see the need to consolidate so I'm going to go with my gut. After the rehab is over I will contact ACS/Brazos and see if they can erase the lates since the loan will be with a completely different lender. Thanks!!
