I am extremely happy right now. I went through the BBB to request DV from LVNV and received the following; After further investigation, the following account has been closed. A request to delete the LVNV tradeline will be submitted to the three major CRA. Yesssss! Thank you myFico!

Midland funding help

I checked my CR and noticed that I have a collections from Midland Funding; the OC is Citibank. I do not recall having a Citibank card. In addition, Citibank is not reference on my CR as a CO; there is no record of having a Citibank account on CR. I am trying to get more information about this account before contacting Midland (I would like to be armed with information before I have to address this with Midland). Should I reach out to Citibank to find out more about this account and the DOFD)? I am guessing if that if this was a valid account with Citibank or was within the SOL, I would have a CO from Citibank on my CR. Need advice, thanks in advance.

Wow. I guess it's true, nfcu love to hp. Although the Rep assured me they wouldn't do a hp, THEY did! 4 hp in 3 days.

Update: I was approved with a 5k CL. Decided to call to see why I received the minimum CL and request an additional 5k, I should have an answer by next week.

So I've been reading all the wonderful stories about NFCU and decided to join on yesterday. Well I received a call today from a CSR regarding the online site. After he finished telling me about the great benefits of NFCU he says, Mr. ... You are eligible for our Flagship card, little did he know I was planning on applying on Jan 2nd (paid off cc's to get utl down, waiting for update CR). After providing my info, he said it would be 3-5 business days before a decision. Wow. He said, they are behind with reviewing applications. I'm a little nervous right now.
