Ok yeah I transferred a balance from cap1 and orchard (i guess now Cap1 also). Hopefully it will post soon to those accounts, as it has already posted and reflected in my balance on my Chase Freedom.

Balance transfer question

So I just got the Freedom and at the time of application (2/27) requested balance transfers from two different cards. Just yesterday they posted to my chase account, but have yet to be deducted from my other two... I'm surprised at how long this whole process takes... When should I expect to see the transfers deducted from the two cards?

Chase Slate: $1000

Discover IT: $1700

Cap1 Cash: CLI $300 to $500

And 4 months ago I couldnt get a prime bank to even look at me!! Wonder what gave them a change of heart? ;)

Just got off the phone. Was denied because I have a few late payments almost two years ago now. She said that I have a really good chance if I have a solid year of history with my Freedom and Slate to get approved for the Sapphire. Oh well. I will probably take a HP around the holidays for a CLI on both, but until then-- Garden Time!!

So I posted a few days ago that I was Instantly approved for Chase Freedom (had an invitation) and Discover IT (cold app). Well, March 5th, an invite for Chase Slate came in the mail... figured, oh what the heck: APPROVED $1000!. Feeling bold (not sure what was I was thinking), I cold apped for Chase Sapphire (not preferred), figuring it would be denied... and to my surprise, I was not instantly denied, but told my application needed further review! Its been a couple of days and still no decision. I could really care less whether I get it or not as I am pretty happy with my other recent approvals! Should I call? or just wait for the "Unfortunatley, we were not able to approve you at this time" letter?

FINALLY! I posted a while back about recieving an invite to apply for the Freedom. I sat on it for a bit... but the invited was staring me in the face... so I bit the bullet... APPROVED for $2000.

SO HAPPY!

**Got the courage to apply for Discover IT... APPROVED!! Not sure of the limit yet, as the website is undergoing its nightly maintenance. I cannot believe it! Cap1 and Orchard bank are officially getting sockdrawerd!!!

After about 18 months of rebuilding and yearning for prime land, I finally got a "pre-screened" letter from Chase saying I'm invited to apply got for the Freedom. Could this actually be a legit offer? My credit isn't that great yet, last alert stated 647 EQ Fico and 659 Ex fako. My current util is at about 25% which will be paiby down by the end of the month. Profile summary in My signature. Could I actually be approved with them?!

I am planning on buying a new(er) car sometime in the next year and I have no idea what the best way is to obtaining an auto loan. I just had a few questions. I've been reading about the Auto Enchanced FICO scores... How does that apply to someone who has not had any previous auto loans? I had a little hiccup with two credit cards 1.5 years ago, will that affect me as much as if I were applying for a credit card? I had one 90-day late on one card and a hand full for 30- and 60-day lates on both between Feb and Sept 2011, all of which are paid off and closed. I have 3 cards and never late. Will I need a co-signer?

Looking at a 20109- 2012 Chevy Tahoe at about 30k with 7-10k down. Income is $30k.

I have been good willing the poo out of my baddies with no avail... That said... Not giving up!

Ive been looking at discover for while. I applied a while back and was denied even on recon. The gentleman I talked to was so nice and gave me advice on what I should do to prepare to apply again. I had one card in DMP when I applied and he said pay it off and be done with you and you should be good. He mentioned that he saw my lates, including my 90-day and said that shouldnt be a problem either because the card is closed and fully paid. He also suggested that my util be under 20% which I already knew from here. With that said, is there a good possibility that I could get accepted? baddies in the signature.

I don't want to give up either... Just a bit discouraging. Ill be sending out another round tomorrow.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any keywords I should try? In my letters I say that I love capital one and recommend them to my family and friends... Yada yada.. Just basically giving and ego boost. Nothing seems to work!

Just got a call back after emailing the executive office for a gw adjustment. And no luck. Was told that everything is reporting correctly and it is against the law to report false information... Also got a letter back after snail mailing a gw letter to their UT address stating that everything was reporting correctly blah blah blah. Seems like Cap1 isn't not willing to budge on removing my lates. Any suggestions? It feels like I've done everything under the sun- emails, phone calls, snail mail, chat... Starting to feel slightly discouraged.
