I'm really wondering what the deal is with Experian?!?!?:smileymad: Their score is almost almost 60 points different than the others. I have checked all 3 reports and they are reporting the same thing!! What gives??:catmad:

She's the only one on the deed. The problem that I think she will have is not owing any other debts, so filing bk7 might not work in her favor since that is her only debt other than other household bills like car note, insuranc eetc.

IOBA, the house is not worth as much as she pd for it. Really upside down. Pd 105,000 only worth 60,000 now. She was thinking about filing AFTER she goes into foreclosure and letting the house go. Won't she be held responsible for the difference when and if the house goes into foreclosure?? Is that even possible??

Hi my myficoians! I have a friend who's upside down in her home and wants to walk away from her house. Should she allow the house to go into foreclosure before filing for bk7 or should she file now? Is it possible to file on the estimated net loss of the house and amend bk7 after final sale?? She has no other monthly bills besides car note, insurance etc?. She purchased the home for 107,000 and it is now appraising for 60,000.:smileysad: What should she do??

UPDATE #2... Logged into my account this morning. Was approved for 500.00 vica signature cash rewards card!:smileysurprised: Will garden with this one and the other 2 for now and maybe step out of the garden for a cli in June 2013. Will see how it goes from here. Off to the garden I go. No more apping, dont fair well with denials!!:smileysad:

Put in a call, they couldnt locate my loan docs that the local branch faxed!!:smileymad: After a long hold, rep told me that it would be another 24 hrs!! Waiting patiently to see what happens..:smileyindifferent:

UPDATE... still no answer from NFCU yet. Not sure what is taking so long. Guess things arent looking too good for me right now...may have to go with the secured rewards AFTER I come out of the garden.:smileysurprised::smileysad:

Hawaii12, I got a pre-approved offer in the mail from them. The startling cl is 600.00 and doubles to 1200.00 after 6mos of on time payments. Just joined NFCU Friday. Have heard nothing but good things about them on this board so we will see what happens.

Well this has been one heck of a year for me financially. Filed bk7 in 3/12, discharged in 7/12. Have since been able to secure an account with first premier (300) and merrick bank (600 doubles after 6mos) both unsecured. Went on an app spree after reading some of the posts here and that was not the thing to do.:smileysad: Need time for hps to come off reports. Gotta settle down and let my cards age a bit. Apped to get into NFCU and was approved. Rewards card still pending, but it's off to the garden to let my seeds grow regardless of decision from them!! Will see you guys around this same time next year with an update. Will update on score increases and check the boards for new info. My goal is to be in the 700s by 2014!!!

Scupra, I opened the account and applied for a card right away. The rep told me that they would usually counter offer with the secured card if I dont get approved. If that's the case I will go with that and see how things go from there. Either way after this Im off to the garden until 06/13!!:smileywink:

Got an update from CreditKarma and NFCU did 2 hard pulls!!! Oh no!!!:smileysad: I thought they would use the same pull for both accounts!! uh-oh! :(
