Just refinanced my BMW X5 today at my credit union. I closed on my house two weeks ago and they asked me if I wanted to move my car over to them. I didn't have that bad of rates in the first place. 6% I think.
I kept my payments the same but took the loan down to 36 months.
It feels good to be in the prime world with prime rates.
I love my life.

6% is high for your scores being where they are. Congrats on your home closing and awesome savings on your auto loan.
The 6% was before my scores were that high. I think they were mid 600 at the time.
I am glad they didn't repull me for these rates as my scores dropped when I went on an app spree right after closing - I think I lost 10 points. Than I lost another 15 points when my new mortgage hit. I have 4 new CC, a first mortgage, second mortgage and now a new car loan. I think my AAoA is going to take a severe hit and really tank my scores. I know in time they will rebound.
