Re: 1st time buyer, change of getting a loan?

I'd love to know how this works out, and what the experts have to say.  I too have a problem providing POI (about 55K), which is also in the form of scholarships, grants, VA disability, etc.

Starting Score: EQ ??? | TU 578 | EX 614 -- As of 05/2017
Current Score: EQ 681 | TU 661 | EX 718 -- As of 07/2017
Goal: EQ 700 | TU 700 | EX 700

After I crossed a 700 credit score I have never been asked to provide proof of income

Conclusion: You can get the loan if you have shown your ability to pay and have good credit score. PenFed is a good place to start.

PenFed will ask for POI for some products and some members.

Totally agree. I believe it is a YMMV experience.

Guess my credit score helped it out and I have 0 debt.

Just called this morning and the check will arrive tomorrow.

Thank you all for the advise.
