2011 Kia Optima!!!

Looking at leasing the new optima, probably the EX model. I love yhe features they offer and warranty. Has anyone had any experience with Hyundai Finance. They told me they are owned by hyundai. Im also thinking about the new accord. My scores are below but waiting for my util to update and should be about 9% by the time i apply for my lease maybe in june. Also, i have a current auto i will trade 2.5years perfect pay history but a settled for less than full amount old repo i paid back in 2007. :-(

You might have a hard time getting approved for a lease but shouldn't have a problem getting approved financing but may be higher rate.

Re: 2011 Kia Optima!!!

So why is it harder to lease than getting a loan? Thanks for your reply!

Re: 2011 Kia Optima!!!

Never made much since to me.  In 2006 I bought a Infiniti QX56 =$70k.

At the time they had a lease special of $599 or 2.9% for 72 months.

They would not approve me for the lease but they did approve me tier 1 financing and my payment was $970!

I didn't get it.

Re: 2011 Kia Optima!!!

Did you buy the Optima? I'm looking right now at the SX model - the dealership is being tight with the numbers - they have one SX model and they think it's going to get top money.  I'm interested in the financing option you took - if you don't mind?

Thanks.

Re: 2011 Kia Optima!!!

The dealership has been telling me 3.9 APR for 60 on the Optima - through KIA.  Ford is better for me though and Hyundai is at 2.9 for 60 months.  My credit is in the 719 range - they said I wouldn't have any problems at all, that and they gave me a number of examples of people with 680 getting good financing.  I'm still undecided however, I like the SX, but I'm still shopping and haven't ruled out a great used car either..
