I didnt make my decision before posting and I wanted to hear from the community and the manager said your car payment should be less the 20% of income which is 2300. I do grasp reality and do handle my spending well because people my age dont even have jobs nor even a savings account in general.

You don't live with them?
Maybe it's your parents that need the reality check then. Sad, just sad. Why don't you and your wife max out retirement accounts instead of putting that much money into a car?
First of all you have no idea if I'm a guy or a girl. Second of all, nobody said your parents were in over their head. Third of all, good luck in life!
You had it all "figured out" before you posted on this site. You didn't want advice, you wanted recognition.
I'm done with this. If you want to waste your money on something as stupid as the car you want to purchase, that's (unfortunately) your choice. Savings accounts are nice, but 26 doesn't last forever. With a wife and child you need to think beyond that.

You live with your parents and yet are going to spend over $1000 a month on a car? Why wouldn't you get a place of your own and buy a reasonably priced vehicle. I hope you are just making stuff up and aren't really living this way. If in fact you are being serious, you have a longs ways to go maturity wise.

The OP is saving 4k per month. Perhaps his culture expects young adults to live with parents. Please everyone remember to be friendly and supportive.

Perhaps you could be right about the culture. We don't know for sure. But, it's really hard to support crazy spending.

Ya, this will blow-up. if he's spending 3000/mo on clothes and entertainment, he is NOT putting 4k/mo into savings. Not a 26 y/o living at home w/ wife and kid, those spending habits, and "want" for a 13' 7 Series. Fail + Fail = Fail

How does one even consider spending 1000 + a month on a car when you dont even have your own place? Yes Im sure it will be nice to have the car but at the same time you staying with your parents. Sad day in America.

Actually, it's $1326...even worse. I agree, it's sad.
