Alliant CU- Auto Pre-Approval Question

I need to get a vehicle for my son.  I found a 2001 Jeep that he liked. but is too old to get a loan from the dealer.  Do you think with a 679 Fico EQ score that I might get a pre-approval if I join Alliant ?  I just paid off some more cc debt and my score simulator says that I should be near 700 towards the end of the month when the cc's report.

with a score like that you'll more than likely be approved as long as your income to debt ratios are fine.. good luck!

Re: Alliant CU- Auto Pre-Approval Question

I believe Alliant pulls TU.  My EQ was 711 and I was denied cc from them and got 0 preapprovals.  My TU08 is only 655, so if yours is higher you may have better luck.

Starting Score: 580 2/03/12
Current Score: 712 EQ // 679 TU(Walmart) // EX 712
Goal Score: 750

Wallet: Citi Forward(8.5k), Chase Freedom(5k), Orchard(300), Kohls(900), Walmart(1400),Alliant CU(5k), CSP(8k), BoA123(8.5k)
