I got a new car 2016 Kia Sorento 14 miles on it, brand new basically. With my credit score I got approved for 10.24 interest and Ally has me at 27,134 on the principle for the loan. Is Ally charging too much as a rate, considering my credit scores?

I just bought a car and financed through them.  You can see my scores in my signature below AND i had a bankruptcy a little over 6 months ago and my rate ended up at 12.49% so you did better than I...lol

Yeah I have no bankruptcy at all on my record. Just have bad stuff on my record that are due to fall off between a year and 4 years.

I think your scores are a bit low for a Credit Union refi right now, but that doesn't mean you can't refin a 6 months or so through DCU or PenFed (et al).

I was thinking on refiancing with USAA in about 6 months....but also looking to get a USAA cash rewards card also. currently have a classic amex credit card with USAA

I had a bankruptcy discharged in 2014, and got a loan with then last June at 4.9%

If you went through a dealer, there is a chance the dealer added some points above the buy rate for Ally to take the loan.

When you can, refinance with a CU to a lower rate and all will be well.
