Chapter 13 was discharged on 3/25/13, Went to Carmax to trade in my 05 BMW clear title at $7,000. looking at 2011 BMW they had priced at $41900. Best offer was for 7.5% @ 72 months with $5,500 cash. Went home and applied to NFCU who I've been with for about 2 years, do 95% of banking with them with direct deposit and was approved for requested amount of $42,500. There is a 2012 MB SLK 250 at another dealership that I have my eye on with 5,900 miles and loaded at $43,950 that I will go look at today, will be great to walk into the dealership equiped with this approval!!! NFCU... You Rock!!
Congrats! I got approved last night for $43,000 to order a new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4. Took all of 5 minutes on the phone to get the approval. NFCU is the best!!
And congrats to you!! They are the best!
SLK 250 is a really weak car IMO, go for a 335i!!!!
Test drive an audi and an infiniti as well.
Congrats! I'm going to be applying soon with NFCU for an auto loan too.
Can I ask what your rate was? Also, would you mind sharing your FICO?
I got 1.79%
Edit: BTW, I asked the CSR and he said they usually pull EQ. Just in case anyone wants to know.
I've had an MRoadster, and am past the fast car thing!! For me now it's about comform and fuel economy as I drive about 50 miles per day!!
And I love the SLK!!
My TU was 680, EQ 692 and was told by dealer where we purchased SLK that EX was 740! I subscribe to Experion Credit Score and monitoring and my FAKO was 746, not to far off! For a late model (2012) I was offered 2.99% @72 from both NFCU and Chase.
