Just wanted to share my auto loan approval info and give hope to those out there with thin credit files. I've only had credit for 3 years and never had an auto loan before but have no baddies on my report.

Amount financed: $18,000.00
Money down: $500 (trade in from old vehicle)
Vehicle bought: new 2013 hyundai elantra
Never had an auto loan before so I was surprised they approved me at this interest rate no cosigner. I make $38000.00 annually but have only been employed by this employer for 7 months due to a state move (fl to va). My monthly payment with gap is $292.00 which I'm super happy about. All in all I'm extremely happy with my car and even happier I was approved at such a good rate for first time buyer.
