I recently got an Mazda 6 Touring model total cost about $26k.

With Credit Scores ranging around 718-730 as it was my first car loan I was approved by Chase Mazda with a 5.8% interest rate.

A month later I attempted a refiance via Penfed, got approved for 2.9%. That brought my car note down about 60 bucks a month.

Going back I would have defintely orginally seeked approval via Penfed first.

Congrats on the refi rate! Those 6's are the most beautiful mass-produced mid-size cars out there. Enjoy!

Re: Approved

Congrats on a nice car and solid refinance.  Credit unions are the solid choice for car loans without a question.
