If I apply for an auto loan through my credit union or an auto dealership are they required to show me the report? I only ask because I've heard the report lenders get is different than the one consumers get even if it is a legitimate Fico score from MyFico.com. I wonder how different it can be from a consumer fico score.
I think that if you suffered an adverse action (could be denial or higher than best rate) the have to tell you the score(s), not show you the full report.

You can always contact the CRAs after Adverse Action to get your full report.
They showed me mine, it looked the same as when I pull .....
Just ask for it. I wasn't allowed to keep it, but I was allowed to see the report I pulled. It was tradeline and public record identical to my consumer pull from that bureau; albeit in a slightly more confusing format (imo).
The score as others have pointed out, can be wildly different as the vast majority of major dealerships will use an auto-enhanced pull, and we have no access to that score version as a consumer.
