Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

APPROVING BANK: NMAC
BUREAU PULLED: Not Sure
CREDIT SCORE: Eq 699 and 655 (joint app w/spouse)
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: FL
NEW/USED: New
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2012
MAKE: Nissan
MODEL: Maxima
MILEAGE: 39
RETAIL/LEASE: Retail
AMOUNT OF LOAN: 34787
TERM CONTRACTED: 72 mos
APR/LEASE RATE: 4.2%
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $548
ANNUAL INCOME: $160K (regular and self employment)
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: MSRP on car was $40750.  Selling price of car after rebates and negotiating was 31200.  Had preapprovals with credit union (3.5%) and Cap One (3.69%).  However financing with NMAC brought selling price down A LOT.  They wouldn't go that low on price unless we used them.  So we went with NMAC.  However we will contact the credit union about turning the loan over to them at the rate they offered.  Love the car!

Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

APPROVING BANK: Toyota
BUREAU PULLED: EQ
CREDIT SCORE: 572 myfico, dealer said it was 531
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: Ga.
NEW/USED: Used
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2012
MAKE: Toyota
MODEL: Camry
MILEAGE: 22035
RETAIL/LEASE: Retail
AMOUNT OF LOAN: 17952.22 with Ext. Warranty and Gap.
TERM CONTRACTED: 60
APR/LEASE RATE: 17.34
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $449.45
ANNUAL INCOME: $47,000
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Put 2K down. My only concern is since it was a certified used toyota with warranty left do I need the extended warranty. Should I cancel extended warranty and Gap? Is Nationawide Insurance Gap added to my policy sufficient? Seems my downpayment really went toward the Ext. warranty and their Gap Insurance. Rate High but 6 month out of BK happy anyone would buy me. Plan send two checks a month one for payment, and other for $100 a month toward principle to buy down this interest rate and shorten the loan. TY Forum!

Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

I think that it would be wise to keep the extended warranty on this one. Especially if the original warranty runs out at 35,000. It could save you money from an unexpected expense.

You got a really good deal on this one considering where your credit is today. $449 a mo is not bad considering the year and make of car you purchased. Congrats again!!!

Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

Oh and I think the GAP coverage is sufficient.

APPROVING BANK: Volkswagen Credit
BUREAU PULLED: TransUnion
CREDIT SCORE: 664
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: TX
NEW/USED: Used
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2011
MAKE: Volkswagen
MODEL: Golf
MILEAGE: 21,000
RETAIL/LEASE: Retail
AMOUNT OF LOAN: $16500
TERM CONTRACTED: 48 mos
APR/LEASE RATE: 4.72%
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $372
ANNUAL INCOME: $62k

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Zero down. I was pre-approved by my credit union at 7.9% for 48 mos or 6.9% for 36 mos and Cap One at 12.9% so I was very pleased the dealer could offer me 4.72% with less than perfect credit. I declined GAP insurance as I'm selling the car it's replacing for between $6-7k and will apply that towards the loan.

APPROVING BANK: Commerce Bank
BUREAU PULLED: Transunion
CREDIT SCORE: 775 and 741 (joint loan with husband)
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: MO
NEW/USED: New
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2013
MAKE: Kia

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY:  Zero down. Our dealer's finance guy advised that GAP insurance would be cheaper through our regular auto insurance - checked online and GAP will only cost us about $18/year through esurance.  We're still deciding whether or not to keep the extended warranty (have 90 days to cancel).

Loaded car with every available option.  Took the Ford financing to get an additional 1K in incentives.  $31,959 sale price.  Sticker was $37,020.  Added the  basic 100K Ford extended warranty and gap. 2K and change down, although I qualified for $0 down.  This car is incredible.  I looked at many competitors, but nothing else had this much car for the price.
