MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: I also got approved at 2.54% with Capital One. I am pretty sure that I qualified for 0.9% financing because they offered me that if I bought an extended warranty and gap insurance. I declined.
Yup, you were tier 1 and honda is currently offering 0.9% for up to 60 months.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: This was my first car loan. I didn't think I would get the lowest possible rate. I called my local CU and they gave me a rate of 2.9%. I told the dealership what they gave me and they matched it with the approving bank. Got a great deal on the car considering that it is a CPO with 100k 10yr powertrain warrenty and 35k left on the bumper to bumper. Fully loaded as well.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Just refinanced a my 2010 Mazda with Penfed but got the itch for a new car. PenFed wouldnt approve as I had only made one payment on the new refi and they wanted to see a longer history with them. I will try to refi this with them after about 6 months. All this with a BK7 5 years from discharge.BTW on a side note ...the 2014 Jeep grand Cherokees are simply awesome.
