I had to write a ltr about my bk. I had to prove my stu loan pmts are as low as TU reports. The CU offered to pay 80 percent of black book market value on the car of my choice (so on a 2005 Mazda that has a black book value of $12,500, the cu is willing to pay $10000, but I have to come up with $2500 to pay the difference, and I have to pay for tax, title, plates, regis).
