MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: $5k off. Was also approved by BofA, Bank of the West, Chase and my own CU, Logix. Got the best deal I possibly could (I figured that out when 2 other Infiniti dealers told me that they would never sell this car for the price I was paying and to call them back when they didn't honor it.) Wife is very happy with her new car and also happy to be done with an SUV!

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: I was trying to wait until my EQ Fico hit 650 but patience wore out and I decided to call to inquire yesterday. I then decided to apply via the telephone and was told I was approved I then e-mailed them copies of requested papers (10 Day payoff, proof of insurance, copy of drivers license, 2 paystubs and copy of vehicle registration) and opened a savings account to become a member. I called this morning and got the account linked to the application. I received the paperwork to sign online via e-mail about 1 hour later and as soon as I digitally signed it received a completed e-mail. I was hit with 2 inquiries one for the loan and one for the membership however well worth it. My previous loan was a 72 month 17.25% apr loan. My payments will drop $50 per month and I will pay the vehicle off 13 months earlier so substantial savings.

DEBT TO INCOME RATIO: low
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: As much as I love NFCU, they don't refinance their own loans. When NFCU refinanced this for us early last year, they were the best rate I could get at the time but it was still very high, some 14.79%. By getting the 1.99% rate (it will probably end up being 1.49% when I open a checking account), I'm saving about $160/month. That is significant.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Pretty surprised when Loan Officer came back with 715 score with several cards with high balances. Went from BOA loan at 4.9 to TFCU at 2.29. Said if I would've gotten 5 more points it would've been at 1.90 Have a previous car loan which is in good standing with them so possibly had an affect on APR.

I have been doing some research on Chase Bank for Auto Loans and finally asked my Chase banker who they usually pull. She told me that Chase uses Transunion 95% of the time for Auto Loans. Just to help people out on here I thought I would post this info
