MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Used rebates and dealer discounts and a little more off truck toward the upside down amount from Jeep. Also added a 100k warranty, oil changes and gap only because we felt like with living in a city with high crashes it was best. Payoff on Jeep was $24,453 and dealer gave $17k moved around numbers till we were all happy with deal. This was our 4th auto with this dealer.

Checked MyFico scores and so far no change in score will recheck August 1-3rd to give a few more days however should have some inquries that come off Aug 1st with them already passing 25th month in July.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Initially, I asked for $31,000 and was approved with a 5.7% rate, but when I asked for more, my interest rate was increased as well. I hope I will be able to refinance it as soon as possible. I will also be aggressively making payments to pay it off sooner and keep my LTV low.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Higher than average mileage due to being from enterprise rental. Remainder of 5yr 60000mi powertrain. Carfax report incl. The fact that it was a minivan made me believe most renters would have been families and mostly highway miles. No way I would consider a rental if it was a sports car.

PNC Check ready quote of 1.99. Opened a credit card with PNC bank on the same pull
as the loan app. Approved for as high of a credit limit as I will ever need with zero interest
for 15 months on purchases and BT. Credit union gave me a check for the final amount on the buy order from the dealership, walked in handed the check to the F and I guy signed paperwork and left with my new car. No hard sell on extended warranty, paint protection etc etc. Did all my negotiations on line, had a final price before I set foot in the dealership.
60mthsx354pmt=21240...your figures do not add up. No way 24184 loan amt can be 60 months for only 354.00 payment. Mistake somewhere.
It makes sense if you deduct the 4k down payment.
@mynameainttracy wrote:It makes sense if you deduct the 4k down payment.
I suppose that's what he did. His figure for amt of loan is actually price of vehicle then. Amt of loan should have had downpayment deducted.
