MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Preapproved loan, went to manual review and was approved in under 2 hours. Good for any vehicle, any dealer for 30 days. Planning to refinance after credit scores hit the magic 720. For those who are rebuilding credit, take heart...we applied a couple of months ago with credit scores around 650 and were offered a horrendous rate (about 16%). A few weeks and 30 points later, here we are. Stated income, no docs required. No previous auto loan or mortgage, no co-signer.
96 months! Is that right?
Bought the hubby a truck for his return from Iraq
COMMENTS: Two collections on TU and EQ reports, EX is clean. CAP1 pulled all three reports. Applied for 20k before I knew what I wanted. They approved me for 24k @ 6.18% for 60 months. When I found the Tundra and realized it would be more expensive, I called and asked if they would go 72 months, which they did. Rate went to 6.89%. Truck is CPO with 100k powertrain warranty, dealer included bumper-to-bumper service contract to 100k miles for under $800. Out the door with trade in was $24,000 exactly.
