Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

APPROVING BANK:  Toyota Financial (Lexus)

BUREAU PULLED: Equifax (my pull was 683)

CREDIT SCORE:  721

CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE:  Kentucky

NEW/USED: Used

YEAR OF VEHICLE:. 2007

MAKE:. Lexus

MODEL: GX 470

MILEAGE: 43,400

RETAIL/LEASE:  Retail

AMOUNT OF LOAN:  ~$36,000

TERM CONTRACTED:  72 months

APR/LEASE RATE: 4.25%

MONTHLY PAYMENT:  $589

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY:  Came with a 36 month/ 100,000 Certified Warranty.  Extended it to 60 months (transferrable) to cover close to the term of loan.  I know it is not ideal to extend to 72 months, but I typically hold all my cars until completely paid.  Will probably trade this around 57 months.  I was VERY happy with that rate!  The car is covered from bumper to bumper (other than brakes, wipers, oil change, etc), they provide road side assistance and it is valid at any Lexus in the US.

Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

APPROVING BANK: American Honda Finance
BUREAU PULLED: Equifax
CREDIT SCORE: 653
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: WA
NEW/USED: NEW :smileyvery-happy:
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2010
MAKE: Honda
MODEL: Fit Sport
MILEAGE: 22
RETAIL/LEASE: Retail
AMOUNT OF LOAN: 17400
TERM CONTRACTED: 60
APR/LEASE RATE: 9.74
MONTHLY PAYMENT: 369
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: One year ago I was not able to get the car I wanted and settled for what I needed and got a 2007 Ford Focus with Roadloans @ 17%. Held on to it for a year and improved my credit by about 70 points. So, today I took the plunge put 2000 down and pretty happy with my choice. The rate is not the best but, definately better. As far as baddies have two old charge offs that will fall off next year and 2 paid collections. With dedication and patience anything can be done!

Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

APPROVING BANK: WELLS FARGO DEALER SERVICES

BUREAU PULLED: Not sure...I think Equifax

CREDIT SCORE: 696 (possibly auto-enhanced); myFICO score was 680

CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: VA

NEW/USED: NEW

YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2011

MAKE: HYUNDAI

MODEL: ELANTRA

MILEAGE: 163

RETAIL/LEASE: RETAIL

AMOUNT OF LOAN: 24,707

TERM CONTRACTED: 72 MTHS

APR/LEASE RATE: 4.94%  :smileyhappy:

MONTHLY PAYMENT: 398

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: I've been surfing these forums for a couple of years and have drastically improved my credit score. I had negative equity in my trade-in and had refinanced twice to go from 22% to a 12% Cap One rate. I messed my credit up when I was young and it is officially back on the mend.  I also bought gap insurance. My rate is now 4.94% and I am thrilled!!! Love my new car!!!! Thanks, myFICO!!!  :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

APPROVING BANK:Wells Fargo
BUREAU PULLED: Experien
CREDIT SCORE: 580 (Really annoyed they pulled this report - my other two FICOs are in the mid 600s)
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: NJ
NEW/USED: NEW
YEAR OF VEHICLE:2010
MAKE:Kia
MODEL:Forte Koup
MILEAGE:36
RETAIL/LEASE:Retail
AMOUNT OF LOAN:16000
TERM CONTRACTED:72 months (not going to utilize full loan period - way too long)
APR/LEASE RATE:8.99
MONTHLY PAYMENT:293
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Pretty happy I got approved at a rate a lot lower than I thought. Was very nervous because my main issue with getting approved was no credit history (I'm 22). Probably because I put 9,500 down on the car. Previously denied by Wells Fargo when I applied on my own (also denied by CapOne, BOA but did get approved by my credit union with pretty much the same rate). Dealer worked with the bank to get rate at 8.99%. They had certain stips that the dealer was able to get waived. Love my new car!
