MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: This forum helped me become a bit more knowledgeable when it came to car buying, so a major thanks to everyone who has contributed on here. I had a junker before this car and this is my second car and FIRST new car. I also financed it on my own(my possible co-signer had a voluntary repo back in '03 so.. no go there lol) and got 2k for my car plus 2,300 I put down out of my own pocket. What hurt my credit score and ultimately had me earn that horrendous APR rate was pulling inquiries... =/ yet, what I think was able to help with the approval was the fact I've never been late on any of my credit cards and have always paid more than the minimum.Here's looking forward to staying inquiry-free for the next few months and possibly refi-ing around October or so.  I was also able to throw in GAP and an extended powertrain warranty, yay. Love my new car<3

My credit union rejected me, and i had to go to roadloans. Roadloans approved at 16% but was able to get dealer financing thru wachovia for 11.9%. Will pay off loan within an year..

how much did you pay for you 2009 altima 2.5s? that's the same vehicle i am trying to purchase this month. Just wondering if they offered a good deal.

I paid 18950 + tax for the altima 2S MSRP 22350.

It includes 1500 rebate offered by nissan. Also, I had to do my research and create competition among dealers to get that price.. Below article is really helpful:

I decided not to use their check and try with Wachovia since they said they use Equifax (which is my highest score). They used the other two instead.

I plan to refinance later. So happy to be rid of my Galant!
