Didn't get immediate approval but received an email about an hour later that he was approved for 33k. Brought the approval certificate into the dealer and it was a pretty easy transaction. Zero drive off (meaninig zero $$$ up front) and payments of $363. The same model without the bells and whistles would have been $300 month. Also, could have received a lower payment for money up front.

We had been looking at purchasing a small Crossover/SUV but kept putting it off because of our credit score and I recently finished a rehab process on my SL's but wanted to wait until it was actually reflected on my credit reports. Long story short - I called CU and they denied me. Found a family member co-signer and we were going to go purchased next weekend. Decided to go test drive ahead of time, fellin love the the CR-V and decided to have them run my credit since the inquiry wouldn't go against me. They got me in to the car I wanted, payments $5 below my max and a shockingly low APR of 4.49%. I'm still baffled by that....
