MyFico has really really helped me with my road to credit recovery. Today I bought a Lexus Certified Pre-owned at the best rate possible during their October sales event.

YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2010
APR/LEASE RATE: 1.99

Congrats.  That's awesome.  What did you get?  Got my eye on a CPO RX 350.  If they pull EQ my auto score will be close to 800.

Thanks Guydiver - I got the HS250h. I wanted a hybrid and wanted a smaller car than my 09 Mazda 6, the IS was too small, the ES was too big. The ES Hybrid is too new so didn't want to spend over $50K for that car. I lucked out and found my gem of a car. I LOVE it. It only had 12,100 miles on it so it is practically a new car. It has all the bells and whistles that one could have gotten on the car minus the ML sound system.

That's awesome!  Hope I can find something like that to take the hit off the new MSRP, they are too rich for my blood, and wallet.Smiley Very Happy

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Spent the last two months researching minivan's and was initially looking to purchase a end year 2012 model, however availability of the colors I was looking for was non existant.  Researched and called around dealers to get my best price of $35K OTD (including tax + tag) and put down $2500, leaving $32.5K to finance.  Luckily for me I already had a preapproval from Penfed at 1.49% however, even better Toyota changed their incentives for November to 0.9 for 60 months! Took it, I LOVE cheap money Smiley Happy

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Vehicle price out of the door is $62525 which is about $5000 less than MSRP. I decided to put $14000 down to cover the gap in cost. I'm looking to pay this loan off in 6 months so that I minimize the amount of interest that I get charged. Additionally, I'm going to apply with Navy Fed and Pen Fed to see if I can get a better interest rate.
