Re: Auto Loan Approvals!

APPROVING BANK: NMAC
BUREAU PULLED: TransUnion
CREDIT SCORE: 724 (Auto Enhanced)
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: TX
NEW/USED: New
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2013
MAKE: Nissan
MODEL: Maxima
MILEAGE: 50
RETAIL/LEASE: Retail

TERM CONTRACTED: 72
APR/LEASE RATE: 5.09%
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $301
ANNUAL INCOME: $70000
DEBT TO INCOME RATIO: 1%
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: The car MSRP was $42600 but the manufacturer and the dealership were offering a lot of rebates which allowed me to get the car for $34800 out the door.  I paid $15800 down and financed the rest.  I had a preapproval from my bank for a rate of 2.74% for 72 months but decided to finance with Nissan to get the rebate.  I am planning on refinancing with my bank in a couple of weeks so that I can get the 2.74% rate.  I am a bit confused as to why Nissan shows my credit score to be so low but both myFico and Walmart TU score is around 745.  Oh well.  I did get a fully loaded sports sedan for a fairly good price so I'm happy.  Now I just gotta learn how to drive it since I have driven a Civic for the last 11 years.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY:

So excited that I got pre-approved! Credit Unions really work with their customers and the loan officer went to bat for me with her supervisor. I have to put down 10% and the Hyundai Elantra's that I have seen are running about 19,000. Plus if you use Motozuma.com, Hyundai matches your downpayment up to $500. In addition, there is currently a promotion with Hyundai that gives owners of competitive cars a $500 bonus. I'm also trading in my car which is worth about $800 on a good day.

I plan to go to the dealer and see if I can get a better rate but I realize just how good I have it!!
